Function

Eekels | TBI is looking for a Chief Fitter for the project location Amsterdam, Monnickendam or Kaag for the business unit Yachting. As a Chief Electrician you help build a specific yacht. Using cable lists, overview drawings and electrical diagrams, cables are installed and systems are connected. We develop some of the more than 160 systems ourselves, including the main switchboards, lighting panels, Alarm Monitoring Control System and AV/IT systems. You also help commission these various systems that are installed on board. You test whether everything works properly and resolve any errors. The construction time of a yacht varies, but think of 1.5 to 3 years completion time. This has to do with the size of the yacht.

Experience

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Secondary school education level 4 (mbo) in Electrical Engineering or equivalent;
• Experience in a similar position, experience in yacht building is an advantage;
• Experienced manager, systematic worker, strong communication skills and team-oriented;
• Good knowledge of MS Office, AutoCAD and EPLAN is an advantage;
• Good (oral and written) communication skills, which benefit cooperation with all parties involved;
• Interested in the latest technical/maritime developments;
• Stress-resistant, because we deal with delivery moments;
• Good command of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written;
• Working safely and healthily is a given for you.
