Job description

• Identify, approach and maintain contact with potential donors, sponsors and partners.
• Develop and implement fundraising strategies and campaigns to achieve the financial objectives of the Youth Fund for Sports and Culture Almere.
• Writing compelling funding applications and sponsorship proposals.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and potential donors and partners.
• Monitor fundraising activities and report on progress and results.

Our organization

Our organization exists thanks to subsidies, funds, and sponsorships. These funds allow us to offer children from Almere a chance to thrive. The board consists of passionate Almere volunteers who enjoy working together as a collegial committee. The board is responsible for the fund's operations. Implementation is the responsibility of the coordinators and back-office staff of the Youth Fund for Sports & Culture Almere.

Desired skills and experience

• Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
• Demonstrable experience in fundraising, preferably in the non-profit sector.
• Networking skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
• Results-oriented and able to achieve objectives within set deadlines.
• Proactive and independent working attitude, but also a team player.
• Affinity with the Youth Fund Sports & Culture Almere.
