Full-Stack Android Developer (Kotlin + Python)

• Full-time , Part-time

Are you an experienced Android developer looking to work on an innovative app that measures and monitors brain health? At Axite, you'll have the opportunity to help build NeuroJournal, an app that allows users to track their cognitive functions using an EEG headband. You will work directly with our CTO and enjoy plenty of freedom to implement ideas and learn new skills.

What will you do?

During your time at Axite

• Build responsive and intuitive Android UI components

• Implement real-time data visualizations such as charts and logs

• Manage journal features with local and cloud synchronization

• Work with the Android SDK to communicate with EEG and biometric devices

• Design and implement RESTful APIs to support the app's functionalities

• Manage user authentication and secure data exchange

Who are you?

You have at least 2 years of experience in Android development with Kotlin and:

• Have experience with the Android SDK and hardware integration, for example EEG or biometric devices

• Proficient in Python (FastAPI, Flask, Django)

• Have experience with cloud databases (e.g., PostgreSQL)

• Understand REST APIs and know how to store data securely

• Independent, proactive, and comfortable working in a startup environment

• Communicates effectively and can collaborate well with others

• Passionate about health, medical apps, and ethical software development

• Flexible (family-friendly) working hours

• Hybrid work (50% office, 50% remote)
