Technical Specialist - Heavy Equipment Technician (Field Service)

Are you an experienced heavy equipment technician looking for a varied role in the construction sector? At Vroom Funderingstechnieken you will work in field service, carrying out maintenance and repairs on foundation rigs, wheel loaders, mini excavators, crawler concrete pumps and concrete mixers at various construction sites across the Netherlands. You will be travelling frequently and working independently on site.

Your responsibilities

As a heavy equipment field service technician you will be responsible for:

• Maintenance and repair of foundation rigs and heavy equipment such as wheel loaders, mini excavators, crawler concrete pumps and concrete mixers
• Identifying and resolving mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
• Inspecting and certifying equipment in accordance with applicable standards
• Working independently at various construction sites across the Netherlands - you represent us on site

Who are you?

You are a heavy equipment technician with a category B driving licence, and you are comfortable working on both mobile and stationary machinery. In addition, you have:

• A qualification as a mobile machinery technician, minimum MBO level 3
• Experience in maintenance of earthmoving equipment and construction machinery
• Experience with hydraulic and/or electronic systems is an advantage
• Flexibility and willingness to travel extensively
