What are you going to do?

Nedap develops cutting-edge solutions for physical access control, helping organisations protect people, property and processes. As we shift towards SaaS-based offerings and cloud-native platforms, we're looking for a Head of Marketing who can set the vision and lead the global marketing transformation of Nedap Security.

As Head of Marketing, you will play a key role in positioning and strengthening the brand of Nedap in Security as we evolve from a traditional access control provider to a software-driven security solutions company. Together with your team, you'll translate our strategic ambitions into clear positioning, creative campaigns and effective demand generation programs that strengthen our reputation and drive growth.

You'll act as both strategist and team leader, inspiring and supporting a skilled group of marketers to explore new ways of connecting with our audiences. Collaboration will be central to your success: you'll work closely with colleagues from Product, Sales and Customer Success to build a shared, story-driven approach to marketing.

This is a rare opportunity to shape the marketing function during a pivotal growth phase, building the playbook for how a European tech company scales a SaaS business in a traditional industry.

Your responsibilities

  • Strategic leadership: Define and guide Nedap Security's global marketing strategy, ensuring strong alignment between brand, product and market approach while leading the transition toward a SaaS-driven business model;
  • Brand positioning: Strengthen and clarify how Nedap Security is positioned in the market by creating consistency and coherence across all communication and touchpoints;
  • Demand generation: Together with your team, drive global demand through integrated campaigns, events, partnerships and digital channels, bringing creative ideas to life that attract and engage customers;
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with Product Management and Sales to ensure clear messaging, pricing, and packaging across all offerings;
  • Team leadership: Lead and inspire a marketing team that combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, fostering curiosity, creativity and collaboration;
  • Market insight: Keep a close eye on trends, competition and emerging developments in SaaS, identity and access management, translating insights into practical actions that support growth.

In this role, you'll guide and support a team of marketers who translate our strategic ambitions into clear, consistent brand and market actions. You'll create direction and rhythm for the team, ensuring that all marketing efforts contribute to a strong and coherent brand presence.

Collaboration is key: you'll work closely with colleagues from Product, Sales, Customer Success and Leadership to align priorities and create impact together. As part of the Commercial Leadership Team, you'll help shape the broader commercial strategy and foster a culture of shared ownership and growth.

Required experience and skills

You are an experienced SaaS marketing leader with a deep understanding of how to position and scale software-driven businesses in complex B2B markets. You combine strategic clarity with a natural ability to connect people, foster collaboration and inspire teams. You know how to align diverse stakeholders toward shared commercial goals and create an environment where collaboration drives progress.

Your profile includes:

  • 8+ years in B2B marketing, with at least 5 years in SaaS or subscription-based business models and 3+ years leading teams;
  • Ability to bring people together and guide marketing teams with energy and clarity, encouraging creativity, responsibility and teamwork;
  • Experience developing and running go-to-market strategies for SaaS offerings, ideally across international markets and multiple channels;
  • Skilled in leveraging data, insights and marketing technology to guide decisions, measure impact and identify new growth opportunities;
  • Strong understanding of enterprise technology; experience or interest in physical security, identity or access control markets is a plus;
  • Comfortable operating in international, cross-cultural environments, with the ability to tailor messaging and strategy across regions;
  • Experience with or understanding of the Winning by Design methodology and its application within commercial and marketing teams;
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal; additional languages are an advantage.
