Purpose

• The Fleet Instructor is responsible for providing some of the training, Instruction, coaching, mentoring and competence assessment of offshore and onshore personnel in a specific discipline: Cargo, Electrical, Process, Instrumentation, Safety, Mechanical, Rigging & Lifting, Mooring Master and MOME. The Fleet Instructor has the authority support the nationalization on board and the offshore crew development.

Responsibilities

Education

• Minimum qualifications as per STCW II/2 Chief Officer of ships of 3000gt or more.

Experience

• Recognized qualification in training and / or education (Assessor / Verifier Awards or equivalent)
• Minimum 5 years in the Oil and Gas Industry with appropriate mix of operational, training, and supervisory experience.
• Proven effectiveness and initiative in training, coaching, development and assessment of technical personnel.
• Proficiency in English at a minimum of B1 level according to the CEFR international standard
• Medically fit according to The Company GEMS Instruction Health Requirements to Work Offshore.
