About the role

We are looking for a motivated IT Infrastructure Engineer to strengthen our global IT team. In this role, you will help maintain and improve the IT infrastructure that supports our international maritime operations. You'll work within a modern Microsoft-based environment and contribute to projects that ensure our vessels and offices stay connected, secure, and efficient. This position is ideal for someone with a few years of hands-on experience who wants to grow further in infrastructure engineering within an international and dynamic setting.

As an IT Infrastructure Engineer, you will be responsible for the following tasks and duties:

• Support and maintain our IT infrastructure (Windows Server, Active Directory, M365, Intune, basic Azure).
• Assist with network operations including LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and firewalls.
• Participate in implementation, configuration, and troubleshooting of IT systems, both onshore and onboard vessels.
• Support IT security initiatives and follow best practices for a secure IT environment.
• Contribute to IT projects, upgrades, and improvements in close cooperation with global colleagues.

Skills & Experience

• HBO degree (applied sciences) in IT / Informatics or equivalent.
• 2-5 years of hands-on experience in IT infrastructure.
• Solid foundation in the Microsoft ecosystem: Windows Server, Active Directory, M365, Intune, basic Azure administration.
• Knowledge of network fundamentals: LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, firewalls, VPN.
• Experience with installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of infrastructure components; ideally Azure Stack HCI.
• Familiar with IT security basics and best practices.

• Communicative, able to operate fluently in Dutch and English.
• Team-oriented, works well with others but also independently.
