Your role as Technical Consultant - Network & Security Custom Solutions

As a Technical Consultant at KPN , you'll dive deep into the security infrastructure of our customers. You design and build innovative systems that we manage on their behalf, ensuring a smooth transition to our operations team.

You know how to turn complex challenges into smart, effective solutions. Together with the customer, you translate their needs into clear technical specifications. You create high-level designs and align them with our lead consultants and architects to ensure everything fits seamlessly.

You bring the following qualities:

• You take initiative-both towards customers and within your team.

• You have a strong interest in emerging technologies and are always curious to explore new developments.

• At KPN, you work in a hybrid environment : regularly at our Amersfoort office or on-site with customers, with plenty of flexibility to work from home. On average, you'll spend 2 to 3 days per week at a KPN location or customer site, and the rest remotely-allowing you to balance work and personal life effectively.

As a Technical Consultant at KPN , you'll work alongside a passionate team of infrastructure security specialists . Together, you form a close-knit group that successfully delivers projects-often in collaboration with project managers and consultants from various disciplines. We follow the latest DevOps methodologies and actively engage with our customers, because we believe in moving forward together.

Within the Security Special Services team, we combine our expertise in design, build, operations, and consultancy to support customers facing unique challenges. Examples of our tailor-made solutions include:

• Zero Trust Network Access services

• Application delivery

• Managed network and security infrastructure , co-created with the customer

What will you bring us?

To strengthen our team, we're looking for a Technical Consultant with broad, proven expertise in network security and cloud security .

You bring:

• A proactive mindset with a customer-focused approach-you take pride in delivering quality service.
• Experience with one or more of the following vendors: F5, Palo Alto, Zscaler, Netskope .
• A solid foundation in networking and strong troubleshooting skills.
• Willingness to invest in relevant vendor and industry certifications .
• The ability to identify commercial opportunities, advise customers on optimization, and actively build your professional network.
• Already working and living in the Netherlands. We do not provide relocation.

• A gross monthly salary between €5,742 and €8,865 , depending on experience (based on a 40-hour week)
• A fixed 13th month , paid partly monthly and partly in January-or you can invest it in a FLEX & BOOST goal of your choice
