The mission of the Analytical Excellence team is to develop a highly responsive and reliable Quality and Food Safety laboratory network, gathering internal and external capabilities, to deal with all analytical related needs, from emerging topics to regulatory requirements, to protect the consumers and patients trusting our brands.

Within the Analytical Excellence team, we are looking for our Lab Performance and Data Analytics Director.

ABOUT THE JOB

Reporting to the Global Analytical Excellence Director, you will lead a team of 2 managers. You will be in charge of driving the analytical performance, the digitalization and the data mining strategy for lab network, in close cooperation with various Analytical Excellence & QFS functions.

You will have the following responsibilities:

  1. Governance of lab network through:
  • Lab performance program for factory labs based on ISO 17025 standard, securing lab QMS, methods, processes, ensuring training within the lab network...
  • Digitalization & information systems, focusing on Lims & operational lab tools for driving analytical requests and offer, QMS self-assessment & audits, proficiency-tests…
  • Trend analysis of massive set of data.
  1. The key deliverables we will expect from you will be to create
  • A lab performance roadmap for all labs covering reliability & cost efficiency pillars with KPIs, targets & trend analysis.
  • A digital & data analytics strategy for the Lab ecosystem, trend analysis reports, ideal lab projects and investment proposals to improve lab performance.
  • A process for data collection / data mining from internal / external sources.

You will have a team (direct report) of 2 managers: Lab performance manager & Data validation manager

You need to travel up to 10% of your time

The preferred location for this role is the Netherlands, to offer proximity to the team, however on exception we can consider other locations within France.

A propos de vous

ABOUT YOU

  • Master/PhD degree or equivalent with a specialization in analytical science and/or lab applied IT
  • At least 15 years of experience in lab related activities with at least 5 years under ISO 17025 accreditation (lab operational activities/management, QMS, audits) and IT applied to performance in labs
  • Knowledge expected: ISO 17025, GLP, lab QMS, auditing, QFS strategy. Statistical background, LIMS & BI tools advanced knowledge, digitalization strategy in lab environment
  • Strong leadership and ability to manage complexity
  • Capacity to interact with many stakeholders at different levels of the Company is a must
  • English fluent, French nice to have
  • Long term and strategic thinking
  • Ability to challenge & implement
  • Can do attitude, resilience and tenacity
