As a Maintenance Engineer, you’ll be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and troubleshooting production and packaging equipment. You’ll encounter a wide variety of machines, from simple mechanical issues to complex electrical problems, and it will be your job to fix them as quickly as possible.

Your day might start by reviewing the maintenance management system to see what preventative tasks are scheduled. If a production line stops, you’ll act fast to identify and resolve the issue. You’ll also maintain other installations around the facility and act as the point of contact for external suppliers.

This is mainly a day shift role, but occasional on-call duties and overtime are required, as production runs Monday to Friday from 06:00 to 22:00.

Key responsibilities:

• Carrying out preventative maintenance on production and packaging machines;
• Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical, electrical, and technical issues;
• Maintaining other facility installations and coordinating with external suppliers;
• Supporting operators by explaining technical issues and suggesting improvements;
• Participating in on-call rotations when required.

• Salary from €3,289.43 up to €4,904.23 per month, depending on experience;
• Extra allowance for on-call duties;
• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km (from 10 km one way);
• Permanent contract for suitable candidates;
• 24 days' holiday plus 8% holiday allowance;
• Pension from day one;
• Full-time work, 40 hours per week;
• Year-end bonus of 3.25%.

We are looking for a technically skilled, hands-on maintenance professional who is naturally curious, solution-oriented, and a true team player.

You’ll need:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar technical role or a relevant technical qualification;
• Strong technical skills and passion for machinery;
• Full-time availability and willingness to work overtime if needed;
• Living in or near Delft with your own transport;
• Ability to communicate in Dutch and/or English;
• Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to guide operators to prevent future issues.
