STUdance is voor de groepen jazz 2 (intermediate) en 3 (advanced) op zoek naar een gedreven en ervaren dansdocent die zo snel mogelijk aan de slag kan.De groepen dansen komend seizoen op woensdagavond .

Wat vraagt STUdance van jou:

Je bent in het bezit van een MBO of HBO-diploma voor een dansdocent opleiding - of van plan om deze af te ronden.

Je hebt ervaring met lesgeven.

Je hebt affiniteit met studenten.

Je bent enthousiast, betrokken en gedreven.

Je bent in staat een open, gezellige sfeer te creëren in de les waarbij professionaliteit gewaarborgd blijft.

Je geeft individuele aandacht aan de dansers, zodat de dansers zich kunnen ontwikkelen.

Je kan inspelen op de verschillende niveaus binnen de groep.

Je bent adequaat in het nakomen van afspraken en aanleveren van materiaal (muziekbestanden etc.).

Vacancy for jazz dance teacher level 2 and 3

The Student Dance Association STUdance in Utrecht is looking for a new jazz teacher to join our team for the 2025-2026 season. With over 360 members, STUdance is the largest student sports association in stage dance in the Netherlands! We offer classes in Hip Hop, Street Dance, Jazz, Modern, and Classical Ballet. The classes are taught at different levels, and STUdance also has a demo team. In addition to dance classes, STUdance offers its members many other fun activities. Each season ends with a spectacular final performance at the Stadsschouwburg Utrecht!

STUdance is looking for a passionate and experienced dance teacher for the jazz 2 (intermediate) and 3 (advanced) groups .

The groups will dance on Wednesday evenings during the coming season.

Both classes consist of a group of around 22 enthusiastic students. The members of the groups change every academic year, which keeps teaching at STUdance diverse and challenging. In the classes, you will work with the members on techniques and choreography. In the second half of the year, each group is assigned a theme and works on the choreography for the final performance. The dance classes take place in the dance studios of Sportcentrum Olympos Utrecht.

What STUdance requires from you:

You have an MBO or HBO diploma in dance education - or planning on graduating.

You have teaching experience.

You have an affinity with students.

You are enthusiastic, committed, and driven.

You are able to create an open, pleasant atmosphere in the classroom while maintaining professionalism.

You give individual attention to the dancers so that they can develop.

You can respond to the different levels within the group.

You are reliable in keeping appointments and delivering materials (music files, etc.).
