Do you have experience in the maritime sector and a passion for electrical engineering? As a Marine Electrician, you will work on the electrical systems of ships — from new builds to refits. A challenging role at the intersection of technology and life on the water.

As a Marine Electrician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems on board various types of vessels, such as yachts, workboats, and naval ships. You will work with systems such as lighting, power supply, navigation equipment, pump systems, and automation.

Your tasks include:

• Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics;

• Installing cables, switchboards, and onboard systems;

• Testing and commissioning of installations;

• Troubleshooting and repairing faults;

• Advising on system improvements when needed.

You will work on-site at shipyards, ports, or sometimes on board at sea. Every day is different!

Wij vragen

What do you bring?

• MBO-level education in Electrical or Maritime Engineering;

• Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in shipbuilding;

• Familiarity with maritime systems and regulations is a plus;

• VCA certificate (or willing to obtain it);

• Driving license B;

• Independent, accurate, and solution-oriented;

• Proficient in Dutch or English.
