Today we are looking for a Key Account Manager DIY to accelerate our business with the important BNL DIY retailers like Intergamma, Maxeda, Hubo or Hornbach

You now have the opportunity of joining the Henkel Consumer Adhesives team in Utrecht in a strategically important Key Account Manager role. In this role, you are expected to make the difference while operating on a highly analytical level and with strong influencing skills in order to identify and develop opportunities and reach full customer potential.
What you'll do
- Manage and develop end to end commercial relationship with customers.
- Accountability and responsibility for P&L on customer level, following KPI's: turnover, profit and market share.
- Developing your integrated promotion plans, managing investments and selling the plan to the customer.
- Strong negotiator on investments, counter performances and promotional discounts, always looking for win-win situations.
- Monitoring customer performance and proactively adapt your plans accordingly.
- Ensure precise, consistent, and timely communication with the customer.
- Responsibility for timely and accurate admin. tasks supporting account strategy incl. sales forecast updates, monthly reports, etc.
- Further build and execute strategic channel plan in close collaboration with the management team and international stake holders.
- Develop and gain agreement on annual joint business plans that align Henkel objectives and strategies with those of the customer.

What makes you a good fit
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a key account within DIY or FMCG
- Master's degree in Commercial Economics or Business Administration with a strong affinity for technical solutions, or a technical engineering degree combined with commercial acumen.
- Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English (French is a plus)
- Drivers license
- Excellent analytical, persuasive, presentation, and communication skills.
- Can set clear priorities and manage complexity effectively.
- Is a cross-functional and international team player.
- Loves providing innovative solutions for adhesive bonding and sealing applications.
- Is tech-savvy and embraces modern tools: comfortable using Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and leveraging AI-driven solutions to work smarter and more efficiently
