Monteur Trailers (Expert)

In this role, you work on the final and most challenging part of the production process. You make sure everything works perfectly before the trailer leaves the factory. You assemble and test key systems such as hydraulics, electronics, and air suspension. This includes connecting sensors, adjusting components, and checking all functions.

You will connect sensors for precise control and safety, adjust axles for optimal road performance, and integrate electronic components such as lighting and control systems. You will also work on air suspension and hydraulic functions that are essential for special transport. Every detail matters, and you are the one who makes sure everything is right.

What will you do?

• Assemble mechanical parts such as axles, couplings, and chassis components
• Install and connect electrical systems, including lighting and controls
• Lay out and adjust hydraulic systems for steering and lifting functions
• Assemble pneumatic components such as air suspension and braking systems
• Integrate components such as sensors, valves, and control panels

In this position, you combine mechanics, electronics, hydraulics, and pneumatics into one perfectly functioning system. You make sure the trailer is safe, reliable, and ready for use.

Who are you?

You have a solid technical background and work with precision. And:

• You have completed a technical education, for example in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, (E-)BAT, VEVA, or mechatronics
• You are an all-round mechanic and/or want to expand your knowledge in hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics
• You can work independently but also collaborate effectively on complex assemblies
• You understand how mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems work together and want to learn more in practice
