1972

The beginning of

SkyNet Worldwide Express

SkyNet Worldwide Express was created in 1972 from the merger of two American express companies. A merger that laid the foundation for a worldwide network that was fast, reliable and flexible.

2006

The introduction

Of SkyMail

In 2006, SkyNet introduced the new service 'SkyMail': a worldwide priority mail service. By transporting mail through the express network to local postal services, sending became easier and more economical.

No in-house sorting, no hassle with postage and still lower rates than regular postal companies. SkyMail caught on in the business market and grew rapidly. SkyMail now offers a wide range of mail services for every need.

2017

Acquisitions - HSB Group and

Holland Logistics Couriers

In 2017, SkyNet will take over the operations of HL Couriers and in 2018 will follow the acquisition of HSB Group. Both will continue as SkyNet Sameday Express. This service focuses on national mail, express and parcel shipping, warehousing and fulfillment for organizations that need fast, flexible deliveries. Such as lightning-fast deliveries around town for hospitality or retail chains.

1980

SkyNet started

in the Netherlands

In 1980, SkyNet officially opens its doors in the Netherlands, as an independent company. Under the name SkyCourier International, SkyNet conquered the market with the motto "Small enough to care, Big enough to deliver" .

2008

'FalkPost' a household name

in the legal sector

As of 2008, FalkPost is part of SkyNet in the Netherlands. FalkPost is an established name in the legal sector, specializing in priority mail collected after office hours and delivered before 08:00 the next morning. In addition, FalkPost provides express and mail services, including registered mail.
