As a Process Engineer , you work on the design, calculation, and specification of process installations within industrial projects. You are a specialist in your field and make a significant contribution to technically sound solutions, with safety, quality, and practical applicability at the core.

You collaborate with engineers from various disciplines and maintain contact with clients and suppliers. Within projects, you work independently while remaining in close coordination with your team leader or discipline manager.

What will you do (among other things)?

• Designing and calculating process installations and systems;

• Advising on process engineering challenges within your area of expertise;

• Preparing specifications for equipment and installation components;

• Preparing and performing design verifications;

• Attending and documenting HAZOP studies;

• Preparing progress, quality, and cost reports;

• Developing and maintaining discipline-specific standards;

• Ensuring compliance with safety, health, and environmental (SHE/HSE) regulations.

Candidate profile

Job requirements

• A completed Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, or similar);

• Approximately 5 years of relevant experience in process engineering is a plus;

• In possession of a VCA VOL certificate (or willing to obtain one);

• Affinity with and interest in HAZOP studies;

• Strong analytical skills with solid numerical insight;

• Independent, accurate, and quality-oriented working style;

• Excellent command of the Dutch language (C1) and English (B2);

• Affinity with sustainability and innovation within an industrial environment;

• Willingness to work occasionally at client locations.
