In this job you are responsible for the sales from the customer relation until the sales contract.

Your role

As Advisor, you are responsible for advising our (potential) customers in choosing the right equipment and systems for production and process installations. You are the 1st point of contact and you delve deeper into the customer's specific technical issues.

You advise new and existing customers and help them find the best solutions tailored to their specific needs.

What will you do?

• Advise (potential) customers on applicable equipment and customised technical solutions.
• Prepare quotations and advice reports and follow up orders.
• Identify market trends and customer needs to exploit sales opportunities.
• During the manufacturing and installation phase, you remain point of contact for the customer and engineering.
• Co-represent Gericke BV at trade fairs and events.

What do you bring?

• HBO or TU degree in a technical field such as mechanical or process engineering
• At least 5 years' experience in a technical and commercial role within the equipment construction or process industry.
• Technical affinity with food process plants is a strong plus.
• Good communication skills and commercial drive.
• Strong empathy and customer-oriented attitude with a solution-oriented approach.
• Command of the Dutch and English languages (German is an advantage).
