Project Manager

Profile

You have at least a completed HBO (higher professional education) degree. Experience as a project manager in a technological environment and with project management methodologies such as PMI, IPMA, Prince2, etc. is required. You are able to manage client and team expectations and are an honest and clear communicator. You know how to distinguish between the main issues and the secondary issues and think in terms of solutions. You are familiar with concepts like proactiveness and flexibility, have a strong sense of responsibility, and are quality-driven. Finally, you have excellent communication skills and a stable and persuasive personality.

Job content

As a Project Manager, you'll be fully responsible for the execution of multidisciplinary projects. This includes monitoring budgets/costs, organization, quality, objectives/information, and planning. You'll be responsible for the technical implementation and act as the link between the client, the project team, and suppliers. You'll support the generation of new leads and proposals, and maintain contact with existing clients. You'll be based both at our headquarters in Alkmaar and at client sites.

The challenge as a Project Manager

You lead projects at the process level, maintain a high level of control over the parties involved, and ensure the job gets done. You utilize existing processes to achieve optimal results, balancing internal standards with client-specific requirements. You utilize project management methodologies. You work closely with various stakeholders, taking client needs seriously while simultaneously maintaining your own insights and professionalism. You manage contacts and, together with the project team, ensure that agreements made with clients are realized on time. You maintain daily contact with various project stakeholders regarding developments and projects. You manage one or more projects with clients, covering commercial, technical, and administrative aspects. You report hierarchically to the operational manager in the MT.
