Are you an experienced professional with strong leadership skills to guide banksmen and/or riggers? Do you possess excellent communication abilities to ensure that team members are well-informed about what needs to be done and to maintain effective contact with subcontractors, partners, and clients?

Then we have a challenging opportunity for you as a Logistics Supervisor within our project team at Lubbers Projects & Services!

In this role, you will demonstrate your expertise in the efficient and safe loading and unloading of project cargo, as well as in assigning the right tasks and responsibilities to operational personnel.

What are your tasks and responsibilities?

• Supervising and occasionally performing the loading, unloading, and preparation of project cargo for shipment;
• Leading banksmen and/or riggers during the execution of logistics projects;
• Coordinating and aligning the project schedule with various subcontractors/partners present at the project site;
• Monitoring project progress in relation to the planning at the office;
• Advising on schedules and timelines for projects;
• Inspecting and advising on the maintenance condition of project equipment;
• Maintaining administration and verifying the proper handling of transport documents and/or (crane) tickets from both internal and external personnel;
• Conducting risk analyses for specific project components;
• Identifying issues and intervening when projects deviate from the plan;
• Overseeing the safety level and environmental impact of logistics activities at the project site;
• Promptly reporting opportunities or threats from clients and (sub)contractors/partners to the project planning team at the office;
• Contributing to incident and complaint investigations;
• Participating in operational team meetings;
• Attending logistics and safety courses/trainings;
• Continuously working on process improvements.

As Logistic Supervisor you will demonstrate your expertise in the efficient and safe loading and unloading of project cargo!

What do we ask from you?

• Communication skills - to inform team members about what needs to be done and to maintain contact with subcontractors, partners, and clients;
• Leadership skills - to guide and manage banksmen and/or riggers;
• Organizational and planning abilities - to ensure project cargo is loaded and unloaded efficiently and safely, and to assign the right tasks and responsibilities to operational staff;
• Stress resilience - to stay calm and focused during project planning issues or other high-pressure situations;
• High level of flexibility - to adapt to irregular working hours, changes in project schedules, and overnight stays (e.g. in hotels);
• Decisiveness - to take responsibility, make decisions, and provide sound judgment in various situations;
• Vocational education level (MBO) - equivalent to intermediate vocational training and thinking level;
• Proficiency in Dutch and English, both spoken and written - to communicate effectively in a multilingual project environment;
• Strong sense of responsibility - to take ownership of daily logistics operations at project sites.
