Via Chassé is a family-owned business that has been importing private label products for European retail chains for over 45 years, specializing in household goods, textiles, stationery, and hobby products. Our office and distribution center in Maurik form the heart of our organization, where we work with a fast-growing team to achieve our ambitious goals. To support our growth, expansions are planned for both our distribution center and IT infrastructure in 2025.

What does your role look like?

As a Quality and Sustainability Officer, you are responsible for ensuring the quality of our products and compliance with European laws and regulations. You work closely with the purchasing team but take the lead in checking and improving the quality of the products we deliver. You ensure that our factories meet the required standards for quality and sustainability, and that all documentation is in order.

What will you do?

• Documenting and verifying technical documentation in line with European guidelines
• Coordinating customer tests through our buyers
• Scheduling audits at our factories
• Inspecting products based on sampling
• Acting as the go-to person for all internal and external quality-related questions
• Attending relevant information sessions to keep your knowledge up to date

Who are you?

You have a keen eye for detail and a strong sense of curiosity. You work independently but can also collaborate effectively with the teams you support. Additionally, you have:

• Knowledge of quality management and social compliance (preferred)
• Willingness to attend courses in compliance
• Proficiency in Dutch and English
• Residence near Maurik (maximum commute of 30 minutes)
