Give systems a second life at Moba Refurbished!

We are looking for an enthusiastic refurbishment engineer for our location in Barneveld. In this varied and challenging position, you will work on refurbishing our machines and systems so that they can continue to be used for many years to come. Would you like to join our team?

For almost 80 years, Moba has been providing total solutions for sorting, packaging, and processing eggs that are sold all over the world. Over the years, Moba has grown into a global market leader with systems in 111 different countries, processing more than 1 billion eggs every day. From design, development, production, and installation to service, it all happens in Barneveld.

At Moba Refurbished, everything revolves around breathing new life into used Moba machines.

These systems have proven their worth to customers worldwide, and as soon as they are returned to us, a unique process begins. We collect the used systems, bring them to Barneveld, and give them a complete overhaul.

Each machine is carefully dismantled, thoroughly cleaned, and technically inspected. Worn parts are replaced, and where possible, we modernize the systems with the latest technologies. This creates a reliable and future-proof product that will last for years to come.

You will be working in a compact and committed team of 15 colleagues, where craftsmanship and cooperation are key. No two machines are the same, so you will have plenty of variety and technical challenges. From the initial contact to the moment the reconditioned machine is operational again at a new customer's site, you will play a key role throughout the entire process.

What will you be doing?

• Overhauling, technically inspecting, and cleaning (parts of) machines

• Assembling parts into complete (parts of) machines;

• Adjusting, testing, and trialing systems;

• Resolving malfunctions and technical problems;

• Converting machines according to customer specifications and drawings;

• Keeping track of machine data, hours, and parts consumption;

• Loading and unloading complete machines and parts;

• Occasionally participating in disassembly and installation projects on location.

What we ask of you

• Minimum MBO diploma in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering;
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical materials and tools;
• Be able to read drawings and diagrams;
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations;
• NEN 3140 course or willingness to take it;
• A forklift certificate or willingness to obtain one;
• Knowledge of measuring equipment and tools;
• Reading proficiency in English.
