Function

Eekels | TBI is looking for an Engineer for the business unit Yachting to strengthen the Service, Refit & Maintenance department. You will perform engineering work on electrical installations for Service and Refit assignments on board superyachts. We are looking for an Engineer who is self-reliant and has a strong position when it comes to electrical engineering expertise. A specialist who helps the service technician to perform his work optimally.

What is expected of you?

• Carrying out engineering work on electrical installations;
• Research, adjustment and improvement of existing installations on board;
• Complete replacement of on-board installations;
• Technically prepare projects, document and prepare for execution;A large part of the systems on a yacht are part of third-party suppliers. You need to find out and process ambiguities regarding I/Os, serial data and/or connection information;
• Supporting the aftercare of the project.

The Business Unit Yachting is one of the largest electrical system integrators within the Dutch yacht building industry and is active in the top segment of Dutch yacht building.

Experience

Do you recognize yourself in this profile?

• Bachelor level and knowledge of (maritime) electrical engineering;
• Several years of relevant experience, preferably in shipbuilding;
• Ability to work well with others and have (commercially oriented) communication skills;
• Goal-oriented team player with a helicopter view;
• A good command of Dutch and English.
