Are you our new expert in earthquake resistant structures?

As a Senior Constructor of Earthquake Resistant Structures at VORM4, you will be responsible for participating in complex projects in a niche market. You play a key role in designing and calculating structures that are resistant to earthquakes.

We invest in the latest tools and technologies, such as Scia Engineer and IDEA Statics, Visual Basic and Python, so that you always stay ahead in your field and can do your job more easily and better. This also fits into the BIM method. This is because we ensure that different software packages communicate with each other in the right way.

You have the freedom to grow into a senior or management position and have access to a training budget of €2,000 - €5,000 to further develop your expertise.

In seismic calculations, we use advanced methods, such as the Lateral Force Method (LFM), Modal Response Spectrum Analysis (MRSA), Non-Linear Push-Over Analysis (NLPO) and Non-Linear Time History Analysis (NLTH). These methods enable us to design structures that can withstand the toughest conditions.

Your range of tasks

• Designing and calculating earthquake resistant structures;
• Performing seismic calculations and advising customers;
• Supervise compliance with building regulations and safety standards;
• Collaborate with colleagues to take projects to the next level;
• Supervising the execution of construction work.

Job requirements

• Technical HBO/WO training in the direction of construction;
• 1-5 years of work experience, seismic calculations are an advantage;
• Experience with SCIA Engineer and IDEA Statics;
• Knowledge of seismic structures;
• Independent and responsible in project management.
