Production Scheduler (Fixed Term Contract)

Production schedulers use their knowledge of the production process and reports to create daily and weekly production schedules. They must also be able to comprehend reports and make recommendations about where improvements can be made.

By effective scheduling of resources, production schedulers help ensure that company objectives are achieved and that all deadlines are met. They must be able to multitask and provide quick responses to production problems. As issues may be unforeseen, Production Schedulers must know how to shift resources and ensure optimisation of resources.

Production Scheduler (Fixed Term Contract)

• First degree in any numerate discipline
• Great understanding of the MRP & APO SNP environment
• Ability to provide robust plans, solving the short term issues.
• Knowledge of supply chain management, planning and inventory management principles such as S&OP, Rough-Cut Capacity Planning, MPS and MRP)
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Supply Planning Team in relation to production schedule process and system related data
• Analytical skills
• Interpersonal skills
• Proactive and Savvy
• Good communication skills

• Advance Excel
• SAP APO/ECC
