Team manager

As Team Manager, you will oversee the quality of work and the overall work process. The result is a driven team, qualitative and efficient execution of work. As a Team Manager, you do not shy away from a lot of responsibility and are able to apply knowledge gained well within the team.

What does your week look like?

As Team Manager, you carry a lot of responsibility for your team and are ultimately responsible for the overall operational work process in the greenhouse. You plan many tasks that need to be taken care of daily to perfection in order to run a good week. You make a weekly schedule and coordinate it with the Location Manager, which includes all daily tasks and the cost overview. You keep a close eye on this during the week. Thanks to the experience you have already gained, you know how to motivate the team and monitor the atmosphere, intervening when necessary. As Team Manager, you check the hours of all employees, make any corrections, prepare consultations with the right input, are responsible for training (new) employees and work closely with the employment agency.

Together with your colleagues, you close the day. Together, you discuss the points of attention that are needed and do not go home until the day's report is written and mailed. Besides being responsible for the work process, you also drive the cultivation round checklist. As Team Manager, you need to be aware of everything in the greenhouse.
