What will you do?

You ensure that the tastiest and most beautiful vine tomatoes are grown at our location. You contribute your expertise for optimal growing conditions, the best growing climate in combination with energy management, the right watering and nutrition. In addition, you consult daily with the Team Manager about labour policy, hygiene policy and order and tidiness in your greenhouse. Together with the Team Manager, you are responsible for the results in one of the 11-hectare greenhouses.

As a cultivation specialist, you will have a varied job. You are responsible for the cultivation and crop protection of 11 ha of tomatoes. To achieve optimal results, the location is equipped with modern techniques. At the location, the most modern techniques are used, such as diffuse glass, air treatment units, LED lighting, etc. Your job is to create and maintain the best possible biological balance in the greenhouse. You are involved in all cultivation processes on a daily basis in order to match them as closely as possible to the needs of the plant. Every week, you have consultations with the crop consultant about the policy to be pursued. You also have weekly consultations with the crop specialists of the other greenhouses. On location, we go on field trips once a week to learn from each other and develop our knowledge.

You are focused on all processes in the greenhouse on a daily basis. You consult, where necessary, with the Team Manager to achieve the optimal result. You will be involved and challenged to think along and then use it in the right way to achieve the best possible result. On site, you work together with technical specialists who provide support to the team for maintenance and/or breakdowns.
