Your role: director of fuel security on the world's oceans

As Senior Bunker Trader/Technical Advisor Fuels at Bebeka UA, you are the connecting link between our members, shipping companies, fuel suppliers, and logistics partners. You ensure that ships worldwide are supplied on time and compliant with the right fuels.

You know what's happening on board because you've experienced it yourself. With your technical and operational knowledge, you act as a content advisor and strategic negotiator. You combine commercial insight with practical experience, helping customers and colleagues navigate a rapidly changing market.

What will you do?

· Negotiate and conclude purchase and sales contracts

· Relationship management with international customers and suppliers

· Analyze market developments and prepare price proposals

· Coordinate bunker deliveries worldwide

· Advise on fuel quality, specifications, and onboard applications

· Contribute to compliance, sustainability, and innovation

· Support technical claims, audits, and quality processes

· Share knowledge within the team and contribute to strategy

What do you bring?

· HBO+ level of education, preferably in Maritime Logistics or Shipping

· Minimum of 5 years experience in bunker trading, maritime trade, or logistics

· Experience as a seafarer or extensive knowledge of working onboard ships

· Commercial insight and strong negotiation skills

· Technical knowledge of fuels, specifications, and ship systems

· Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English

· Analytically strong, resilient, and decisive
