Your new job | About your main responsibilities
EY Studio+ is a leading consultancy firm specializing in customer experience. We pride ourselves on delivering innovative solutions that drive growth and efficiency for our clients across various industries. As we continue to expand our design team, we are seeking a talented and motivated Junior UX/UI Designer to join us.
As a JuniorUX/UI Designer , you will join a young team of enthousiastic designers that is part of the worldwide EY IXD (Innovation & Experience Design) collective. The collective holds 1500+ professionals across 20+ countries in the fields of customer centric design, digital product and service design, engineering and delivery. More specifically, you will:
- Work closely with our team of designers, developers and business consultants to create engaging and intuitive user experiences for our clients' digital products and platforms.
- Have the opportunity to contribute to all stages of the design process, from research and concept development to prototyping and implementation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and user needs.
- Conduct user research, usability testing and competitive analysis to inform design decisions and present insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Develop personas, customer journeys, and experience maps.
- Provide advice on UX strategy and design system implementation.
- Facilitate workshops (design thinking, service blueprinting) and work with or at client locations (on-site or hybrid).
- Create wireframes, mockups and prototypes to visualize design concepts, and iterate on designs based on feedback and user testing results.
- Work closely with developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX/UI design.

Your Office - Amsterdam
Our Amsterdam office is located at the Zuidas: a bustling area full of companies. In our Cross Towers, we welcome up to 1,500 people every day. For a breathtaking view of the city, head to the 22nd floor. Collaboration takes on a new meaning in our Wavespace, a high-tech environment that connects clients and colleagues virtually across the globe.
Your skills and strengths | About your unique contribution
You have:
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or related field
- A maximum of 2 years of (relevant) working experience. A relevant internship is an advantage
- Strong portfolio or thesis project showcasing UX/UI design projects and process
- Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma
- Basic understanding of front-end development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a dynamic team environment
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal. Fluent in Dutch (both written and verbal) is an advantage
- Are currently living in the Netherlands
