As a Working Foreman Coating, you lead a close-knit team and work hands-on in producing the massive steel foundations for offshore wind turbines. You make sure the work runs smoothly, safely, and with craftsmanship every single day.

Foreman Coating, what will you do?

As the foreman coating, you provide daily leadership to a production team of 5 to 6 colleagues at our Maasvlakte 2 (MV2) site. You're actively involved in production about 70% of the time while ensuring the work proceeds smoothly, safely, and according to schedule. You are the first point of contact for your team, ensuring goals are met, quality is maintained, and safety always comes first. In the absence of the Team Leader, you take over the daily management of the production hall.

• Lead and coordinate the team's daily activities, including task allocation, progress monitoring, and organizing toolbox meetings.
• Monitor planning and quality throughout the production process and take corrective action when deviations or delays occur.
• Ensure compliance with all HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) regulations, address unsafe behavior, and promote a strong safety culture.
• Support, coach, and motivate team members to perform their work safely, efficiently, and to quality standards.
• Communicate and coordinate with the Team Leader on progress, staffing matters, improvement points, and training needs within the team

You possess;

• VMBO/MBO-level education, complemented by technical knowledge of metalworking and welding techniques.
• Experience in a production environment, preferably in metal or construction.
• A valid VCA-VOL certificate and knowledge of lifting equipment.
• Understanding of safety regulations, procedures, and quality standards.
• Strong coaching, motivational, and leadership skills on the shop floor.
• A proactive mindset: you spot opportunities for improvement and take action.
