• Strong experience in Windows Server administration.
• Strong experience with Exchange Online.
• Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Azure and virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals and cybersecurity principles.
• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
• HBO work and think level, plus 3-5 years in IT (systems engineering, cloud, or infrastructure).
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft MCSE, Azure AZ-104 and/or AZ-305, Cisco CCNA/CCNP or equivalent from other vendors, PaloAlto PCNSE or equivalent from other vendors, Microsoft365 MS-102) are a plus.
• Pre: Scripting experience (PowerShell, Python) for task automation and system integration.

Key Responsibilities

As a System Engineer, you'll:

• Deploy, optimize, and maintain server environments (Windows/Linux), virtualization platforms (VMware ESX), and cloud infrastructure (Microsoft Azure).
• Ensure high availability, security, and performance of core IT systems-compute, storage, backup, and identity services.
• Automate workflows and processes using scripting and orchestration tools.
• Plan and execute system upgrades, lifecycle management, and capacity planning.
• Manage and optimize cloud environments (Azure), including virtual machines, networking, IAM policies, and cost governance.
• Apply security best practices and ensure compliance with global standards (NIST/CIS).
• Collaborate with global IT teams, provide Tier 3 support, and act as a technical advisor for cross-functional projects.
• Drive innovation by evaluating new technologies and implementing automation solutions.
