Join a large international bike rental company as a loader and help ensure everything runs smoothly!

What will you do?

You’ll start at 7:30 AM and, after a short team briefing, hop straight into the vehicle. A box truck is attached, so it’s important that you’re comfortable driving it . Next, you’ll drive to the city center of Amsterdam to one of the company’s store locations.

When you arrive at the store, you’ll have a quick chat with the staff. Then you’ll collect the broken bikes and load them into the box truck. Once all bikes are loaded, you’ll drive back to the warehouse, where the bikes are unloaded for repairs. You’ll also scan all bikes during loading and unloading to ensure the inventory is correctly updated in the system.

After unloading the broken bikes, you’ll refill the van with repaired bikes or bike parts. Then you’ll drive back to the city center and repeat the process several times a day! A bonus: no need for a gym membership, because you’ll stay physically active all day.

On some days, there may be too many couriers. In that case, you’ll help out in the warehouse performing logistical tasks. That’s not bad either: there’s music playing in the background, and you’ll work together with friendly colleagues.

This is a full-time position, spread over 5 days a week. Workdays are Monday through Saturday. The schedule is made a few weeks in advance, so you’ll always know exactly which days you are expected to work.
