Business Analyst job vacancy in The Netherlands

We are looking for a business analyst with the outlook to become a consultant to join our project team. Working and reporting directly to the Project Manager or Programme Manager depending on the structure of the project. To perform this role, you should have very strong skills in doing analysis and presenting them in a structured way.

A business Analyst inside Noventum is an important part of our project team. This role is the key interface between our client and the project manager. A business Analyst is the one that gathers information, analyze, document, present and explain to our client the issues and improvements as conclusion after analysis of the information collected and analysed.

We expect that a Business Analyst once working with us:

• Understands and uses the support tools within Noventum and used in own area

• Is able to gather and structure simple data about the customer's business.

• Is able to analyse straightforward problems and come up with workable solutions.

• Is able to effectively plan his/her own tasks and pieces of work.

• Knows the main facts about the different types of customers.

• Knows the services that Noventum offers.

• Knows Noventum's business and what Noventum is trying to achieve and the way it is organised.

• Knows the organisational structure and ways of working

Responsibilities are:

Gather and research data:

• Conduct financial, product, market trends, and operational research to support strategic and business planning within the various departments and programs of the client group

• Determine the objective of the analysis to be performed and plan activities to complete analysis

• Perform qualitative and quantitative analyse and structure results

• Construct charts and diagrams illustrating the outcome of performed analysis

• Prepare analysis reports

Develop thoughtful conclusions:

• Develop actionable conclusions from performed analysis

• Identify problems

• Identify areas to improve

• Suggest recommendations using analytics to support them

Presentation and explanation of findings:

• Contribute in the creation of project deliverables

• Maintain client confidence by validating collected information and keeping information confidential

• Be accurate with deadlines

Profile

• Bachelor's degree or higher

• Strong performance at school (very good school grades)

• High-quality analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communications skills in English, both verbal and written.

• Strong interpersonal skills, such as communication, cooperation, initiative, good planning and organizing, ability to get things done, judgement

• Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities (sport, club leadership, etc.)

• Willingness to travel (required)

• Internships or work experience
