The Department

The HR department consists of three employees: two HR advisors and a payroll administrator/HR officer. The department is rapidly developing and is currently working on strengthening its foundation. You will also contribute to the further professionalization of a well-functioning HR department. Experience with AFAS is preferred, enabling you to process various changes correctly and independently.

What are you going to do?

• Drawing up contracts, letters and reports via AFAS;

• Managing the HR mailbox;

• Contribute to the development of procedures and their implementation;

• Proactively make proposals for improvements within HR processes;

• Supporting HR advisors and regularly coordinating with them to determine how your efforts are most desirable and effective;

• Supporting recruitment and selection processes, such as scheduling job interviews and inviting and rejecting candidates.

Who are you? We're looking for a colleague who:

• Has an MBO+/HBO thinking level;

• Has experience in supporting an HR department;

• Has knowledge of Dutch legislation and regulations in the field of HR (employment law);

• Good knowledge of AFAS software (this is a big plus);

• Stress-resistant and accurate;

• Possesses excellent communication skills - both oral and written;

• Is sociable and can work effectively within a team;

• Proactively thinks about possible improvements and contributes to a positive working environment;

• Has an affinity with education and/or trade unions.

We offer (based on a full-time employment contract)

• An employment contract for a period of one year;

• Salary from €3.396 to a maximum of €4.762 gross per month (scale V);

• 8,33% holiday allowance;

• 8,33% fixed year-end bonus;

• Excellent pension scheme at PFZW (75% employer contribution);

• €480 gross per year health insurance allowance (full-time);

• Hybrid working with €2,45 home-working allowance per agreed home-working day;

• Home workstation on loan (furniture, large screen, mouse and keyboard);

• Laptop and telephone (also for private use);

• Travel allowance for commuting up to 50 km one way; or a business card for the entire trip;

• On a full-time basis, you receive 196 vacation hours per year, 32 hours of life-phase leave (LFBP), and the opportunity to accrue 15 ATV days. Additional holidays are May 1st, May 5th, and Good Friday.

• Flexible employment conditions, such as buying or selling leave, bicycle arrangements, fitness facilities, and reimbursement of union dues.
