Are you passionate about quality, food safety, and leading people? Join our Specialized Nutrition factory in Zoetermeer, where over 500 Danoners produce specialised liquid medical nutrition for vulnerable groups in more than 55 countries.

As Quality Team lead for the Packaging department, you will be both a leader and a hands-on expert. You will lead a team of three dedicated professionals, including QA specialists and QA packaging engineers. Together, you ensure the highest standards in packaging quality and food safety. You will work operationally alongside your team, setting quality and food safety standards, and driving continuous improvement. Your leadership will inspire your team to grow professionally and deliver excellent results.

Your main responsibilities:

• Lead, coach, and support your team in their daily work and professional development.
• Develop and implement food safety, hygiene, and quality requirements for packaging processes, equipment, and materials, in line with internal and external standards.
• Transform data into valuable insights and continuously improve the quality and compliance of products and processes.
• Take the lead in root cause investigations regarding Quality and Food Safety issues.
• Act as a business partner, identifying and driving opportunities for productivity improvements.
• Express the quality mindset on the shop floor, performing inspections and quality tours, and staying in close contact with operators, technicians, and process engineers.
• Attend daily meetings to support the department in producing safe and high-quality products.
• Set up validation protocols and align with departments on feasibility and execution.

Sobre ti

To be successful in this role, you bring:

• Completed education in related fields and at least 5 years of experience in quality assurance;
• Experience in a production environment (ideally food, pharma, or biotechnology);
• Proven experience in leading a team or strong people mindset;
• A passion for working in a technical, fast-paced production environment;
• Knowledge of food safety/quality management systems (HACCP, ISO, FSSC, GMP, etc.);
• Analytical skills, stress resistance, and the ability to prioritise;
• A hands-on, practical, and result-driven approach;
• Excellent communication skills at all levels of the organisation;
• Fluency in Dutch (speaking and writing) is required.
