Internship - Traffic & Safety Plan (QSE)

Help improve workplace safety by mapping traffic flows and turning them into a clear, practical safety plan for our site.

About the assignment

Our QSE department is looking for an intern who wants to make a real impact on safety. You'll help analyse all movements in and around the mill - from pedestrians and forklifts to trucks and materials - and translate them into an improved traffic and safety plan. Your work will be used directly in practice, and you'll be guided by experienced QSE specialists.

Start date: February 2026

Duration: ~5 months

Location: Eerbeek

What you'll do

• Map all traffic and goods flows on-site
• Analyse risks and identify improvement points
• Create spaghetti diagrams and visual layouts
• Develop practical solutions and propose improvements
• Work together with operators, technicians and QSE experts

Who you are

• HBO student in safety, logistics, engineering, QHSE or similar
• Strong analytical and observational skills
• Practical mindset and good communication
• Comfortable talking to different teams on-site
• Able to translate findings into clear recommendations
