HERE'S WHAT WE'LL DO TOGETHER:

At G-STAR, we're driven by curiosity, creativity, and a love for pushing boundaries. As our Intern Finance, you'll join the Financial Reporting team at our global HQ and work side-by-side with the Finance Director and our financial controllers. Together, we'll dive deep into the financial heartbeat of the company - translating data into insights, sharpening our management reporting, and supporting the evolution of our statutory reporting landscape.

You'll play an active role in one of our key finance transformation initiatives: the implementation of a new disclosure-management reporting system. This is a unique opportunity to see how a global fashion brand turns raw financial information into accurate, trusted and compliant reporting - and to contribute directly to making that process smarter, faster, and more robust.

YOUR TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

As our Intern Finance, you will:

• Support the preparation, improvement, and delivery of monthly management reporting packages.
• Work closely with the Finance Director to analyze financial performance, develop insights, and help strengthen reporting consistency across the business.
• Assist the financial controllers with data validation, reconciliation work, and preparing supporting schedules.
• Contribute to the implementation of our new disclosure-management reporting system, including:

- Supporting data preparation and testing - Helping structure statutory reporting templates - Ensuring alignment between SAP, Fluence and reporting outputs

• Help streamline reporting processes by identifying opportunities for automation or simplification using SAP, Fluence, and Excel.
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis or reporting projects depending on business needs.

WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's program in Finance, Business Economics, Finance & Control, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong analytical and numerical skills, with keen attention to detail.
• Interest in financial reporting, data structures, and process optimization.
• Basic knowledge of AI tools and the ability to work with them.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple systems.
• Eagerness to learn and take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
• You are available full-time (40hrs per week) for a period of 6 months starting in February 2026.
• You are already living in the Netherlands and are in the possession of a BSN.
• You are enrolled at a university or college in the Netherlands during the whole length of the internship.
• If you are a non-EU student in The Netherlands, you are in possession of a mandatory internship assignment.

• Finally, if you have a strong personality and excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, we'd love to meet you!
