Do you want to be busy with varied tasks every day? Then join us as a Logistics Employee Order Picker at the Sligro Delivery Service in Amsterdam. Together with a team of cheerful, hardworking colleagues, you'll work at fixed hours.

From our Delivery Service in Amsterdam, we deliver all kinds of orders to our customers. From coffee beans to energy drinks, from cutlery to kitchen machines. You name it, we deliver it. Collecting all these different products is a big job every day. As a Logistics Employee Order Picker, you play an essential role in this process.

Order picking with a fully automated system

At Sligro, order picking is completely paperless. At the start of your shift, you'll receive a finger scanner from the Order Planner. With this, you scan product barcodes to ensure you pick the right items. You move through our distribution center with an electronic collection cart. The cart has a terminal that shows exactly which products to collect. You pick orders for multiple customers at once. Once everything is collected, you place the cart on the route indicated by the terminal. Then it's time for the next cart.

In summary, your tasks are:

• Independently collecting orders using a terminal and electronic collection carts
• Informing your supervisor if an item is out of stock
• Keeping the department clean and tidy

Working hours

• Monday to Friday
• 13:00 to 21:00

We offer you:

• A good salary according to CAO-GIL for at the maximum of €2408,64 on bases from 36 hours and travel allowance (from 11 km one way). Evening shifts include an evening allowance. You'll also receive a cold or freezer allowance when working in conditioned areas
• An initial contract for 8 months with the intention to extend
• 25 vacation days for a full-time (36 hours) contract
• Unlimited free coffee, tea, soft drinks, cup-a-soup, and fruit during breaks. Evening shifts also include a free dinner

• You have a positive work attitude (more important than your education)
• Some experience in logistics is a plus
• Physically able to handle sometimes heavy tasks
• You have a Reach Truck certificate or are willing to obtain one
