Are you analytical, do you enjoy working with numbers, and do you want to contribute to the success of an international event venue in the heart of The Hague? At World Forum The Hague, we're looking for a Junior Business Controller who thrives on financial processes, accuracy, and collaboration. In this role, you'll be the right hand of our Finance Manager and ensure that our financial administration is rock solid.

Available 32-40 hours per week
Knowledge of accounting and financial processes
As a Junior Business Controller, you'll ensure our financial processes run smoothly, accurately, and are future-focused. You have an eye for detail, are a forward-thinking person, and know how to translate figures into valuable insights. You'll work alongside the Finance Manager and colleagues from other departments to build a solid financial foundation.
What you will do | Main responsibilities as a Junior Business Controller

Who you are | We'd love to find out!
You're energized by structure, numbers, and collaboration. You're meticulous and detail-oriented, but you also know when to step back and see the bigger picture. You understand that numbers are only truly valuable when they contribute to insight and decision-making. You're independent but actively seek collaboration when needed. You're also curious and eager to learn: you want to understand how processes work and how they can be optimized. We're also looking for someone available 32-40 hours per week.
What ever happens:
- A financial background;
- Knowledge of accounting and financial processes;
- Strong analytical skills and experience with Excel (Power BI is a plus);
- Good communication skills and mastery of the Dutch and English language;
- Experience with SAP and EBMS/Ungerboeck is a plus;
- Affinity with payroll and salary administration;
- A hands-on mentality and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.

- 30 vacation days
- An annual training budget of €1000 based on a full-time employment contract.
- Possibility of a work-from-home day
- International work experience at a unique location in The Hague
- Monthly drinks and staff parties

- Favorable staffing scheme for theater performances
- A committed team and an inspiring work environment
