Who are you?

• You have relevant experience in industries related to beauty , h ygiene and health products such as:

  Cosmetics & Personal Care (skin care, hair care, oral, fragrances), Nutraceuticals & Supplements, Pharmaceuticals (OTC, generics, biologics), Hygiene Products (soaps, disinfectants, detergents), Natural Extracts & Botanicals (essential oils, plant extracts), Medical Devices.

• Your experience lies in one of these functional domains:

  Technical & Operational expertise

  Formulation, product & process development; Process engineering, scale-up and production management: Facility/equipment selection, qualification & maintenance: Supply-chain, logistics and inventory planning.

  Quality, Compliance & Regulatory expertise

  QA/QC systems, audits, GMP/ISO; Validation, documentation, SOPs, CAPAs; Regulatory submissions (cosmetics, supplements, pharma)

  Business, Marketing & Commercialisation expertise

  Branding and market-entry strategy; Sales, distribution and export preparation; Business planning, performance improvement.

• You are an authentic, resilient, humble and dynamic professional with a track record of relevant experience in personal care.

• You understand the differences in culture and operate on the basis of equality.

• You are eager to operate as a coach and sparring partner in various cultures and changing circumstances.

• You can translate knowledge into a practical plan.

• You have excellent command of the English language, both verbally and in writing. Bonus points for French or Spanish proficiency!

• You are comfortable with digital tools, including Microsoft Office 365.

Being a PUM expert

As a volunteer at PUM, you play a key role in sharing your expertise and experience. You're not just an expert; you're a game-changer. By sharing your knowledge, you're powering the sustainable growth of SMEs in countries worldwide.

What being an expert will look like? You will handle one or two projects remotely each year, for example via Microsoft Teams. You'll also spend two weeks on-site with the client. PUM covers your flight and visa, and the client takes care of your stay and local transportation. You will also receive an expense allowance. As our expert, you're not just sharing knowledge, you're:
