Infrastructure Engineer

You'll become part of a high-performing team responsible for the design, implementation, and operation of our core network and infrastructure environment. Your responsibilities

• Maintaining and upgrading network hardware (switches, routers, firewalls, WiFi)

• Managing virtual environments (VMware, AWS, Azure)

• Monitoring system performance and troubleshooting issues

• Handling incident and change management (including patching)

• Implementing and maintaining security measures

• Supporting internal teams with technical guidance

• Exploring containerisation technologies (e.g., Kubernetes)

• Ensuring infrastructure documentation is up to date

• Recommending and implementing innovations that improve performance and reliability

Job requirements

What You Bring

• A Bachelor's degree in an IT-related field

• 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 3 years in networking

• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and firewalls

• Familiarity with Microsoft, Linux, and ESXi systems

• Hands-on experience with data center technologies and backup solutions

• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS)

• Knowledge of scripting languages

• Experience with tools and systems such as FortiGate, Juniper QFX, Aruba, Arista, VMware (vSphere, Horizon), Pure Storage, and Optical Networks

• ITIL and ISO 27000 knowledge (certifications are a plus)

• A can-do mindset and a collaborative, proactive attitude
