Vacancy: Turner (CNC & conventional)

At Metalo, we don't just run in circles. Here, you'll work on large workpieces, specials, overhaul parts, and one-offs that really require your thinking. From a Ø1500 carousel part to a repair shaft that needs to be accurate to the hundredth. That kind of work.

A little bit about Metalo

We're a down-to-earth company with a large and diverse range of machinery. Gurutzpe, Potisje, PBR, the large Estonian Ticino (Ø900 × 4500), Doosan/Pumas with powered tools, Siemens, Fanuc, Style-anyone who enjoys turning will find plenty to enjoy here. We value craftsmanship over tall tales and keep communication lines short.

Your work

You'll be producing new components, remanufactured parts, and specials. This means:

CNC turning on Doosan/Puma 700LM, Fanuc-controlled 10S, Padovani's with Siemens, Emco with Fagor

Conventional turning when that works faster, more conveniently or more accurately

Large diameters: from sturdy Ø2000+ workpieces to smaller precision parts

Independent clamping, alignment, measuring and correction

Regularly think about the best approach for each assignment

No rushed production. One day machining, the next a revision part that requires some puzzling.

What we are looking for

A turner who trusts his machine. And vice versa.

You can work independently and maintain an overview of complex work.

You have experience with CNC or conventional machining, preferably both

You quickly pick up new controls (Siemens, Fanuc, Fagor, Style)

You measure carefully and have technical insight

You don't mind variety. There's plenty of it.

What you get in return

You work alternately on:

Salary commensurate with experience, usually between < > and < gross.

Large and versatile projects, you don't make the same thing for months
