Production Manager

We are looking for a Production Manager to oversee all production activities in the Sakarya Site.

Your role

This role involves managing production staff, optimizing processes, ensuring quality standards, and implementing strategies to meet operational goals. The Production Manager will also work closely with other departments to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and foster a culture of safety and teamwork.

• You will maintain accurate records of production data, including yield, resource utilization, and quality metrics, and monitor labor efficiency through KPIs.
• You will manage the production team, including hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluations, while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork.
• You will analyze and improve production processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and implement innovative technologies and practices for sustainability and productivity.
• You will ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations and conduct regular inspections and audits to resolve production issues.
• You will establish and maintain quality control protocols, ensuring product consistency and excellence, and collaborate with the quality team to address customer feedback.
• You will monitor and manage production budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources, and ensure optimal allocation of labor and machinery to meet production goals.
• You will coordinate the procurement and maintenance of equipment, supplies, and materials and communicate production updates to senior management.
• You will collaborate with other departments, such as Quality and Logistics, to align production with overall business objectives.

What do you bring?

• You have a Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Engineering, Chemistry Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
• You have at least 7 years of experience in production, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment in the agricultural, biochemical, chemical, or medical sector.
• You have strong knowledge of agricultural plant cultivation and processing techniques.
• You have experience with strategic planning, problem-solving, and conflict resolution.
• You have effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and develop teams.
• You are proficient in English and Turkish.
• You have excellent Microsoft Office skills and a basic understanding of ERP/MES systems (SAP knowledge, Power BI).
• You are analytical, data-driven, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
• You are residing in or willing to relocate to Sakarya .
