Your job

We are looking for an enthusiastic facilities assistant who can work independently, is service-oriented, and enjoys providing optimal service to our customers at a location of Wageningen University & Research Campus Wageningen.

As a Facilities Assistant, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing meeting rooms and providing audiovisual support;
• Building management, order & tidiness, waste disposal;
• Receiving, storing, registering, and distributing goods and chemicals in the building;
• Small jobs and removals;
• Simple technical work.

Your team

Within our department, we provide facility services within the research and education buildings of Wageningen University & Research. We do this with over 130 facility staff and receptionists and 3 team leaders, spread across more than 15 buildings.

You will work here

Facilities Services is a broadly oriented organizational unit within WUR and is responsible for a wide range of services: from accommodation to automation, from sports facilities to coffee machines, and from reception services to procurement and library services. Facilities Services aims to provide students and colleagues with a learning and working environment in which they can work together on the future and get the best out of themselves. Your qualities

You are a customer-oriented, proactive employee who is accurate and stress-resistant.

You also possess:

• MBO facility management level 4;
• A practical attitude with an eye for detail
• A proactive attitude: you see what needs to be done
• Knowledge of and experience with MS Office and Teams;
• Communication skills (Dutch and English required);
• First aid certificate or willingness to obtain one;
• Place of residence no more than 25 km from Wageningen.

We offer, depending on your experience, a competitive gross salary of between €2.697,- and €3.231,- for a full-time working week of 36 hours, in accordance with the CLA Wageningen Research (scale 4). Additionally, For this role a contract for 32-36 hours can be discussed. As for your contract, we initially offer a one-year contract that can be extended on good performance.
