Farm Frites is op zoek naar: Senior Business Controller Commercial Finance

In this role, you will be part of the Farm Frites Commercial Finance department. You act as a financial co-pilot for a Sales Territory and are involved in and/or lead projects and reporting processes. In this dynamic role, you actively contribute to decision-making on both operational and strategic levels. Commercial Finance at Farm Frites is evolving from a primarily reporting-driven function towards a stronger focus on business partnering and value creation.

Farm Frites operates in a matrix organization, which means you collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders across different locations and departments.

Responsibilities of the Senior Business Controller

Reporting to the Finance Director, you will:

• Driving business value by providing expert financial and analytical insights to support operational and strategic decision-making;
• Serving as the financial business partner and co-pilot for the Sales Territory, providing challenge, insight and assurance on data quality to enable fact-based decision making;
• Preparing and executing monthly financial reporting, including portfolio, contract and customer profitability analyses;
• Reviewing, tracking and analyzing performance KPIs, advising the business and presenting insights to senior management;
• Building financial business cases and supporting project teams in designing and implementing key company projects;
• Identifying improvement opportunities and driving the efficiency mindset and financial roadmap;
• Supporting the development of the Commercial Finance team, with the clear ambition to take on people management responsibilities over time.

What the Senior Business Controller will be doing

• Establishing clear links between KPIs and performance drivers to actively control and improve the P&L;
• Executing financial planning and control within the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) - Oliver Wight cycle, incorporating the latest insights into revenue, cost and volume developments;
• Initiating and developing, together with colleagues, periodic reports and dashboards for senior management, such as weekly operational results, budgets and forecasts;
• Identifying opportunities to improve margins and productivity and optimizing the cost-efficiency of commercial and operational processes;
• Identifying improvement areas, helping to define objectives and translating these into concrete action plans;
• Supporting operations in the execution and implementation of improvement initiatives.

Profile of the Senior Business Controller

• Master's degree (WO) in Finance, Economics or a related field;
• At least 5 years of experience in Commercial Controlling, preferably within FMCG or the Food industry;
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to challenge and advise senior business leaders;
• You combine strong commercial awareness with a drive for deal-making and performance improvement;
• Fluency in English is required, and command of the Dutch language is considered a strong plus.

What Farm Frites offers the Senior Business Controller

Depending on your knowledge and experience, we offer a competitive gross monthly salary in line with the Farm Frites Collective Labour Agreement, based on 36 to 40 hours per week. This role is graded in HAY level 17.
