We're looking for you as a Licensed Aircraft Mechanic (Cat A) at Transavia

Have you been living in an EU country for at least 8 years and you have a valid Part-66 EASA AML ? Then we're looking for you!

What will you do?

Keeping our fleet in top condition - that's your main goal. Between flights, you'll perform line maintenance to ensure our aircraft are ready for safe departure. In the hangar, you'll dive deep into aircraft technology. One day you might replace an engine, the next you're disinfecting a water system. One thing's for sure: your work is incredibly diverse. You don't mind working alternating shifts, including weekends, evenings, and daytime hours. What you will get

• Gross monthly salary up to €4.459,- based on a 40-hour workweek;

• Shift allowance: approximately €834,- gross per month (depending on your schedule);

• If you're CAT-A certified on both our 737 and Airbus aircraft, you'll receive a second type allowance of €53,- gross per month as long as both types are in operation;

• 8% holiday allowance and 8.33% year-end bonus;

• Travel allowance;

• Personal budget of €700 for your well-being (e.g., gym membership, bike, or home office equipment);

• You will start with 27 vacation days.

Highlights of your job

• You'll work on the newest aircraft in the skies: the Airbus A321neo. Over the next few years, our fleet of about 50 aircraft will be upgraded to these modern and sustainable planes. By next year, more than half of the Transavia fleet at Schiphol will be Airbus;

• Maximum variety: maintain the entire aircraft, from nose to tail. You'll work both in the hangar and on the line, right in the heart of the operation between boarding and disembarking passengers;

• Focus on your development and growth towards becoming a Ground Engineer;

• Occasional travel to one of our beautiful destinations. Is there a technical issue in Barcelona or Reykjavik? You might be the one selected to fix it!

Where will you land?

You'll land within the Fleet & Technical Services (F&TS) department, based at our hangar at Schiphol-East. This department ensures the technical readiness of our aircraft. F&TS includes Aircraft Maintenance, Materials Management, Engineering, Planning & Control, and support departments like Maintenance Control, Project Management, and F&TS Support.

Job requirements

The right baggage

You and your team ensure our aircraft can safely take to the skies. It's a big responsibility, and you feel that. You work accurately, follow safety procedures seriously, and stay alert to everything happening around you. You're capable of working both independently and collaboratively.

As a Licensed Aircraft Mechanic, you bring:

• A relevant MBO level 4 diploma;

• You have a valid Part-66 EASA AML

• At least 2 years of demonstrable experience as an Aircraft Mechanic, preferably with aircraft types 737 and/or A320-A321;

• You embrace diversity;

• Good command of both Dutch and English.

Due to security clearance requirements, you must have lived and worked in the EU for at least the last 8 years. Unfortunately, if you do not meet this criterion you are unable to apply for this role.
