Holland Staal B.V .,, located in Zwaag (Hoorn), is a progressive, professional producer of medium to heavy steel structures for utility construction and industry. We are active in the entire steel construction business chain: design, production, preservation, and assembly.

Well-known and structurally groundbreaking projects include the G-Pier and VIP Parking at Schiphol, the reconstruction of the Schouwburg Hoorn, data centers in Middenmeer, the Fokker Papendrecht headquarters, and the ABN Amro Amsterdam headquarters, as well as various All Weather Terminals and cocoa terminals in Amsterdam.

We are immediately looking for an enthusiastic, creative

3D Draftsman

As a 3D Draftsman, you are responsible for creating (working) drawings in Tekla or Advance Steel for the client, production, and assembly. You will come up with innovative details and solutions together with your colleagues. You will actively consult with the client, constructor, external parties, as well as internal departments such as procurement, work preparation, production, and assembly. In your designs and detailing, you will consider internal guidelines and the requirements of the building regulations and standards. Additionally, modern collaboration based on BIM models with various parties is becoming increasingly important.

What are the job requirements?

• MBO level 4 (Middle Management Engineering, Technician Engineering)
• Preferably several years of experience in a similar position
• Good knowledge of the Dutch language in speech and writing
• Experience with Tekla or Advance Steel or a similar drawing program
• Building knowledge
• Good communication skills
