As a Product Specialist, you will advise both internally and externally on appropriate features and design choices for our software. You’ll gather the necessary information to support the team in decision-making. You’ll also participate in testing new features and act as a subject matter expert. You can clearly explain the rationale behind our solutions and platform to help onboard and support existing and new clients.

You will become part of the Cloud team, a group of 12 driven colleagues who maintain the current solution. It’s an informal team with extensive knowledge and experience of the application. Everyone is approachable and ready to support you whenever needed.

📍 Location:This is a hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to work in our Apeldoorn office for at least 1-2 days a week, located at Fauststraat 3, 7323 BA Apeldoorn, Netherlands.

What you will be doing:

• Stay up to date with legislation and regulations related to financial reporting and translate changes into new software requirements;
• Gather relevant information to support decision-making within the product development team;
• Advise on functional enhancements for software for accounting firms;
• Contribute to the functional development of high-quality software for accounting firms
• Participate in testing of new software features and ensure they meet requirements;
• Act as a subject matter expert on financial reporting and regulatory compliance;
• Collaborate closely with a Cloud team of 12 experienced and approachable colleagues;
• Work in a proactive, independent manner while also being a strong team player;

What you will bring:

• Higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level;
• Experience working in a financial environment, preferably in an accounting firm or software company focused on financial applications;
• Strong interest in automation;
• Great affinity with numbers;
• Naturally precise;
• Proactive, sees and seizes opportunities;
• Independent but also a strong team player;
• Strong problem-solving skills;
• Good command of the Dutch and English;
• Available for at least 32 hours per week.
