What are you going to do?

As a trainee Energy Consultant, you will have the opportunity to develop in the areas that appeal to you most. Your responsibilities will include:

• • Account Management: You build and maintain relationships with our customers, understanding their needs and providing appropriate solutions.

• • Energy Purchasing and Risk Management : You support strategic energy purchasing and advise clients on the best risk and optimization strategies.

• • Energy Coordination : You monitor energy projects and ensure smooth implementation.

• • Sustainability Policy : You will work with teams to develop and implement sustainability strategies.

• • Energy analyses: You delve deeply into the data to gain insights and present your findings in an understandable way.

…and in the meantime you learn while you work, where there is room to develop your personal talents and qualities.

Two-year skills program, what does it entail?

At PowerQ we believe in continuous growth and development, and targeted skill building is essential for this. As part of your traineeship, we offer you a two-year skills program , facilitated by external specialists. They offer 1-on-1 coaching, training and webinars, helping you make the best possible start to your career. This makes your traineeship a full-fledged and versatile learning-on-the-job trajectory that will benefit you for the rest of your life.

Who are we looking for?

We are not looking for everyone. We'd rather get it right - for you and us - than waste each other's time. Makes sense, right? That's why we're looking for people who are eager. Wanting to learn, wanting to grow, and wanting to contribute to a crucial topic like the energy transition based on intrinsic motivation. People who aren't afraid of responsibility; within our team, you'll quickly grow into a fully-fledged energy consultant. You will be given plenty of space to develop.

That is why we are looking for someone who:

• • has an academic level of thinking and working;

• • speaks and writes fluent Dutch;

• • has an analytical mind that is not afraid of mathematical or physical puzzles;

• • has demonstrable social and communication skills;

• • has an affinity with and interest in sustainability and commerce;

• • is in possession of a driving license B;

• • preferably an affinity with the energy world. Based on a good dose of technical affinity, we will teach you the 'energy trade' quickly enough;

• • is sharp and quick-witted;

• • has strong relational skills, focused on long-term relationships;

• • is an enthusiastic self-starter, proactive and enterprising;

• • a real go-getter who can function independently as well as in a team;

• is fluent in the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
