Ceradis B.V. develops and markets innovative environmental friendly solutions for plant nutrition and crop protection. The company Ceradis was founded in the Netherlands as a spin-off of Wageningen University and still has a close relationship with their research departments. Ceradis products have a patented formulation that guarantees optimal activity of the ingredients and excellent handling characteristics for the end-users. Ceradis has 4 current technology platforms and is working on strengthening these and adding to them. Each platform is covered by one or multiple patents.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

The Financial Accountant of Ceradis will be in charge of:

• Preparing accurate and complete quarterly and annual reports (incl. consolidation)
• Identifying and implementing improvements to accounting processes and systems
• Managing internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and explanations
• Analyzing financial situation of the Ceradis Group and timely, pro-actively flagging any financial issues and suggesting improvements
• Assisting in the preparation of yearly budgets and forecasts, monitoring performance against targets
• Managing accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments
• Ensuring adherence to and optimization of internal control processes
• Preparing and filing tax returns, ensuring compliance and optimization of taxes at all levels
• Assisting in the preparation of WBSO (R&D tax credit) filings

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• An accountant (Dutch MBO or HBO level) with at least two years of experience in the Netherlands
• Fluent in Dutch (fluent/native) and in English
• Experienced in working with Exact, Microsoft Excel
• Knowledgeable regarding the foundations of IFRSA and Dutch GAAP
• An entrepreneurial spirit who takes ownership, a real go-getter
• Hands-on and willing to fulfil practical tasks
