Embed is a regulated Payment Service Provider (PSP) for Vertical SaaS platforms. We are a fast-moving, ambitious startup backed by tier-1 investors, building modern payments infrastructure that simplifies compliance, risk, and integration for software platforms.

Responsibilities

We're looking for an Operations Analyst to join our core operations team. You're analytical, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with data. You like to be involved in many parts of the business, eager to learn the ins and outs of payments, compliance, and operations.

You'll be directly responsible for keeping Embed's platform safe and compliant, while making sure merchants get a seamless experience. You'll work across onboarding, customer support, transaction monitoring, and finance. As part of a small team, you'll also be expected to improve and optimize processes so we scale efficiently.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reviewing and processing merchant applications, performing KYC/KYB checks, and managing end-to-end onboarding.

• Conducting transaction monitoring reviews, investigating suspicious activity, and escalating cases as needed.

• Identifying and implementing improvements to operational workflows, automation, and documentation.

• Handling customer support queries related to compliance, payments, and account management.

• Conducting ongoing due diligence and periodic reviews of merchants.

• Assisting Finance with reconciliations, settlements, and reporting.

• Maintaining high-quality records for compliance and regulatory purposes

You Might Be a Fit If You

• Have experience in compliance operations, AML/KYC/KYB, or fintech/payments operations.

• Are detail-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

• Have familiarity with transaction monitoring systems or regulatory reporting.

• Are comfortable working with data (Excel, SQL, or similar) and supporting finance workflows.

• Thrive in a fast-paced, early-stage environment where processes are still being built.

• Want to shape how compliance and operations scale at a regulated fintech.
